Dr. John D. Triggs attended the University of Iowa for undergraduate studies in Biology and Business. He remained at the University of Iowa for dental school where he earned a Doctorate of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.). Following graduation, he went on to complete a 4-year residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Loyola University Medical Center in Chicago. During his residency, he received specialized training in anesthesia, medicine, and the full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery. Dr. Triggs enjoys all aspects of oral and maxillofacial surgery with a particular interest in dental implants and bone grafting. Dr. Triggs is Board-Certified and a Diplomat of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He is also a member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, Wisconsin Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, and the American, Wisconsin, Greater Milwaukee and Washington-Ozaukee Dental Associations. Dr. Triggs is continually participating in continuing education programs to provide the most up-to-date and quality care for his patients. He belongs to multiple study clubs, including the Milwaukee Dental Forum, with area dentists to discuss complex treatment cases. He is also the Director of the Third Coast Study Group – a chapter of the Seattle Study Club – with 30 area dentists and specialty members. Dr. Triggs is an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Marquette University School of Dentistry. He lectures to the third-year dental students in their Advanced Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery course. Dr. Triggs is on staff at Elmbrook Memorial Hospital, Columbia St. Mary’s – Ozaukee Campus and Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin. Dr. Triggs is an Iowa native but enjoys calling Wisconsin home. He and his wife, Maria, like to travel, cook and spend time by the Lakefront with their children. He is an avid sports fan and regularly attends Brewers, Bucks and Packer games.

Dr. Judd C. Smith attended the University of Minnesota where he completed his undergraduate studies in Biochemistry while playing football for the Golden Gophers. He went on to attend Marquette Dental School and completed his Doctorate of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.). Dr. Smith then moved to Columbus, Ohio where he completed his four-year Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Residency at The Ohio State University. During his residency, he received specialized training in anesthesia, medicine, and the full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery. Dr. Smith is Board-Certified and a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He is also a member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, Wisconsin Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, and the American, Wisconsin, Greater Milwaukee, and Washington-Ozaukee Dental Associations. Dr. Smith is also a member of the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honor Society. Dr. Smith is on staff at Elmbrook Memorial Hospital, Columbia St. Mary’s – Ozaukee Campus and Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin. Dr. Smith, his wife Bente, son and daughter enjoy spending time with friends and family. He is an avid sports fan and his free time usually involves watching Big Ten Football, traveling, fishing, and enjoying the beautiful outdoors.

Dr. Matthew J. Midtling is originally from the Twin Cities, MN, and attended the University of Minnesota where he completed both his undergraduate studies in chemistry and his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree. After dental school, he completed a general practice residency at Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis, MN, followed by a one-year internship in oral and maxillofacial surgery at the Medical College of Wisconsin. After finishing his internship, Dr. Midtling stayed at the Medical College of Wisconsin and completed a four-year residency program in oral and maxillofacial surgery in 2019. Dr. Midtling is Board-Certified and a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He is also a member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, Wisconsin Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, and the American, Wisconsin, and Greater Milwaukee Dental Associations. Dr. Midtling participates in continuing education programs to provide the most up-to-date and quality care for his patients. Dr. Bret M. Waligora is originally from Alpena, MI, and attended the Lyman Briggs College of Michigan State University where he completed his undergraduate studies in Human Physiology. He went on to the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry to complete his Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree. After finishing dental school, Dr. Waligora completed a one-year internship in oral and maxillofacial surgery and then a four-year residency program in 2020 in oral and maxillofacial surgery at the Medical College of Wisconsin. Dr. Waligora is Board-Certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He is also a member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, Wisconsin Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, and the American, Wisconsin, and Greater Milwaukee Dental Associations. Dr. Waligora participates in continuing education programs to provide the most up-to-date and quality care for his patients. Graduating as valedictorian from Marquette University Dental School in 1990, he completed his residency at Gundersen Medical Foundation Lutheran Hospital in LaCrosse, Wisconsin. Dr. Wallock has been a trusted figure at Elmbrook Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery for 33 years. Renowned for his patient-centered approach, Dr. Wallock has earned accolades and certifications, solidifying his status as a top-tier practitioner. He is excited to continue his full-time practice at the Brookfield and Menomonee Falls locations and bring his expertise to benefit a wider patient base as part of the Milwaukee Oral Surgery & Implants team.

Dr. Taylor L. DeLaura attended the University of Colorado in Boulder for undergraduate studies in Molecular, Cellular, & Development Biology and The Classics. She then attended dental school at the University of Pennsylvania (DMD) and continued her education with their six-year integrated MD/Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Residency (OMFS). During her residency she received her MD from the University of Pennsylvania Perelman School of Medicine (MD), and completed service time in general surgery, anesthesia, and full-scope Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Dr. DeLaura loves all aspects of oral surgery, but her primary interests include wisdom teeth removal, benign pathology, corrective jaw surgery, and dental implant surgery. Dr. DeLaura received the Penn OMFS Chair’s Standing Ovation award at the conclusion of her residency program and is a candidate for ABOMS. Dr. DeLaura is on staff at Elmbrook Memorial Hospital, Columbia St. Mary’s – Ozaukee Campus, and Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin. While Dr. DeLaura is a Colorado native, she has loved getting to know Wisconsin and all the outdoor activities it has to offer. She and her husband enjoy spending their free time cooking, hiking, and listening to podcasts (she’s always taking recommendations).

Dr. Gart attended Northwestern University for undergraduate studies in Spanish and Political Science. Following graduation, she completed her Master’s in Biology at New York University. She attended dental school at the University of Pennsylvania where she earned a Doctorate of Dental Medicine (D.M.D.). While enrolled in dental school, she also completed a Master’s degree in Higher Education at the University of Pennsylvania. Following her studies at the University of Pennsylvania, she went on to complete her residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Temple University Hospital. During her residency, she received specialized training in anesthesia, medicine, and the full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery. Most recently, she completed a Master’s in Business Administration from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University.
